Cunnumulla Railway Station.

Good morning, Today is the 1st of July 2018. This post has been created to let people know that this station is still standing, but due to bridge damage a couple of Years ago it is not used for Railway Services. It is not known at this stage if the line will be reopened. Here is a photo of the damaged Bridge.

More info about this Newsletter. The main Purpose of this Newsletter is to give out information about Heritage Railway Stations and Volunteer groups that are restoring Stations and running stations as Museums and Tourist Railway Operations. If we write about them and give links to Websites and Facebook pages, more people will be inclined to visit them.

Merriwa Railway Station

Morning, Today is Wednesday the 20th of June, 2018. In October 2018, on the 29th it will be 101 years since the Merriwa Railway Station became operational. Burra Railway Station, South Australia.

The reason for this Newsletter is to Promote Tourism in the Heritage Railway Industry and to encourage Volunteer groups to be involved in Restoration Projects of Railway Stations that can be restored. Some have already been restored and have Museums which are open daily for viewing of their facilities.
