Good morning, Many thanks to all the Visitors who have come to this site, it is very much appreciated. I have created a new Slogan. G.V.A.R.S.T. Go Visit A Railway Station Today. Take Photos of it, explore it's history, talk to the people if it is attended by somebody, and If you are in Toowoomba today they are running "Silver Bullit" passenger trains to Spring Bluff. For your information, an update has been done to the Broken Hill Station Page. Photo taken at the Toowoomba Railway Station, standing on the footpath on the side road. Not sure if you can go to this location anymore as there has been Major development in the last couple of years, maybe the last 4 years.

4th Station for the November Newsletter.

Good afternoon, The Railway Station to be featured here is the Broken Hill Railway Station, Built in 1957. I have come up with a new Slogan, G.V.A.R.S.T. "Go Visit a Railway Station Today". More NSW Railway Stations Photos are at this site, https://nswrailstats2015.blogspot.com    A photo taken by Zayden Speechley at the Broken Hill Railway Station in the last couple of days. I have permission to use his Photograph, thanks for that Zayden. The Photos above were taken in May 2016. You could say that the City of Broken Hill is a lucky city. Since the city was established, 4 Railway Stations have been built. 1 the Sulphide street Railway Station. 2 the Railwaytown Railway Station. 3 the Iodide Street Station, NSW Railways built station. 4 the current one, built in 1957, and, is used by the Indian Pacific train and the Explorer from Sydney. So Lots of Railway History in the town since the town was started. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broken_...

So far it has been extremely successful, which I did not expect. Visitors from all over the world, never in a 100 years did I expect that. At around 10.30 am this morning, 3260 visitors had visited the site. The Newsletter is about increasing Tourism to Railway Stations around the Country. At this present time There are Many Railway Stations that have been re-purposed for all sorts of Purposes. Tourist Railways, Railway Museums, Craft Shops and Railway Memoribilia. These organisations need Volunteers, so if I can encourage people to volunteer at Railway Stations to help current groups to push ahead into the future, by creating this Newsletter, then that means I have achieved what I set out to do.
