Kilmore East Railway Station, Victoria.

Good Morning, Today is Friday the 28th Of December, 2018. When we traveled between Traralgon and Rochester Victoria, we decided to stop off at Kilmore, which is about 60 kilometres North of Melbourne. Here are some Photos I was able to take at the Railway Station.

Morning, Today is December the 26th, 2018. Boxing Day, the day that is important for lots of things. Here's a couple of photos taken at the Station in 2014. This Railway Station is still used by the Inlander for Passengers and staff change overs for the Concentrate Trains from Mount Isa. Morning, Today is Monday the 24th of December, 2018. Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all the visitors who visit this site and to all the followers of this site. The 4th Newsletter is due on the 21st of January 2019. The 5th Newsletter will be due on the 21st of March, and, in it will be a special Feature for the Raglan Railway Station. Newsletter Update 19th of December 2018

Good afternoon, Here is an update on what I have been doing with my Newsletter. I have write ups about 9 Railway Stations and 3 special Features. The will be another 4 Stations added, and A Special Feature about a Hobby Photographer. If I am on time with my Newsletter it will be released on the 21st of January. Good morning, Today is Wednesday the 19th of December, 2018. This Post is for a write up on the Emerald Railway Station, in Central West Queensland. This Railway Station still has Railway Passenger services available with the Spirit of the Outback running through the town. Keith Railway Station Precinct, South Australia.

Morning, Today is Tuesday the 18th of December, 2018 This write up is about the Keith Railway Station Precinct. The Railway Station was demolished many years ago. A Pedestrian Underpass is still used at the Keith Railway Station Precinct.

Tintinara Railway Station, South Australia.

Morning, Today is Monday the 17th of December, 2018. This is a write up about the Tintinara Railway Station, which has been re-purposed as a Craft shop and Tourist information centre. It is well set up, and has a Bay window on the Platform so the oncoming/passing trains can be viewed. We visited this Railway Station, while traveling from Murray Bridge to Keith in South Australia. The three photos above show the view that can be obtained inside the Station building, if the weather is not suitable to stand outside.

Special Feature-Railway Passenger services.

Good morning, Today is Sunday the 9th of December, 2018. This story is to do with Railway Passenger services and how they have dwidled away to a mere pittance to what they once were. In the past week or so it was announced in the Media that the Overland Train will be stopped in late December 2018, due to the South Australia Government with drawing their $330,000 subsidy to help run it. The decline of Rail passenger services has been happening since the early sixties, possibly even earlier than that. Over that time several different governments, in all states of Australia have cut back on Rail Passenger services. But the irony is that the State of Victoria have been expanding their Rail Passenger services since 2004, with the Introduction of the Vlocity DMU sets, with expansion of the Fleet ever since. Queensland and Western Australia have introduced new services and new Trains, but in my opinion, not to the same extent as Victoria. Here is a Photograph of the Bluebird Rai...
