Pinnaroo Railway Station, South Australia.
Good afternoon,
Today is Saturday the 30th of March, 2019.
This is a write up for the Pinnaroo Railway Station, South Australia.
Some of the Information has been sourced from the Book, Pinnaroo-Hub of the Mallee.
The Railways arrived in Pinnaroo in 1906.
The line was converted to Standard Gauge, from Broad Gauge in 1995.

I have done some reading of the book mentioned at the Beginning of the write up, and here are some excerts of it.
"In1894 the first Parliamentary Bill was introduced for the Tailem Bend to Pinnaroo Railway Line"
"On the 17th of November 1901, a Bill was introduced into the House of Assembly to authorise the construction of a railway from Tailem Bend to Pinaroo".
"The bill was passed in the House of assembly and also in the legislative Council on the 12th of December 1901"
"Finally the Railway Bill was passed on the 30th of October 1903".
"Construction work began on the 28th of November 1904".
"The Station was opened on Friday the 14th of September 1906".
The above information was sourced from the Book, Pinaroo-Hub of the Mallee.
During the time that Passenger services ran to Pinnaroo, it is my understanding that Railcars ran from Tailem Bend and Ouyen to Pinaroo. A couple of Photographs in the Book indicate this.
Passenger services ceased on the first of April 1963.

Today is the 20th of May 2019.
