4th Edition of the Newsletter.

Good morning,

Today is Saturday the 27th of October, 2018.

I am doing some early planning for the 4th edition of my newsletter which will be released on the 21st of January 2019.

The railway stations I will be covering in that edition will be the following.

Narrabri
Tintinara
Keith
Bordertown
Emerald
Longreach
Charters Towers
Ravenwood
Kilmore
Echuca
Chiltern
Townsville
and
Bundaberg.

Here's a preview of some photos of some of those Stations.

This Station is now used as a Craft shop.
The goods crane at the Keith Railway Station Yard.
You are still able to catch the Overland at this Station. But I am not sure for how much longer.
A beautiful old Railway Station in Central west Queensland.
The Station that is the destination of the Spirit of the Outback, Longreach QLD.


Stations for edition 5 due on March 21st and edition 6 due on the 21st of May have been selected and I will put up a list at a later date.

In the meantime I need to finish number 3 edition which is due in a little over 3 weeks on the 21st of November.

Good Morning, I hope you are all Well and happy, News about Raglan Railway Station, Possible Pedestrian Crossing at Raglan Railway Station, I have been in communication with Amanda from UGL, and, she has advised that I need to Contact Transport for NSW. Contact with Transport for NSW has been made and I am waiting for a Response. Hopefully it will be good News. Friday afternoon 3-11-2023, Transport for New South Wales are going to investigate more and will get back with what ever info they find out. Many thanks to them for getting back to me. Regional Rail Passenger services.

Good Morning, Today is Saturday the 18th of January, 2020. For the past few years I have been investigating the Possibility of Extending Regional Rail Services in South Australia and New South Wales. In the process I have copped a lot of Flack, but all I am trying to do is give a Passenger service to the people in Rural Australia. In March 2019 I contacted UGL. Ian Pendlebury is the person I spoke to about building a new single Railcar which are driveable from Both Ends. From the emails, and, a Phone conversation I had with Ian, it was pointed out to me that it would be too expensive to have a New one built. He suggested that I contact a Manufacturer who has Railcars already in Production. I contacted Bombadier in Melbourne, but they did not answer my email, so I will need to try and contact them next week.
