Ravenswood Railway Station

Today is the 21st of January, 2019.

This is the last Railway Station for this Newsletter.

We visited Ravenswood in 2014, on our return trip from Charters Towers to Townsville.


As far as I can remember, these two photos were the only Railway related items left in the town.
Known as a Gold Mining town, it had lots of ups and downs.












The town of Ravenswood is steeped in Australian History. Worth a visit if you are in the area, and, great for Grey Nomads to visit.

Bungulla Railway Station, NSW.

Good Morning, Today is Friday the 31st of January, 2020. Here's some info about the Bungulla Railway Station. It was located on the GNR of NSW between Tenterfield and Bluff Rock. Opened on the 9th of December 1891. Closed in 1975. Photo from Nathan Johnston's collection, taken on the 29th of September 2001. Photosourced from the NSWRAIL.NET, Webpage. This LOCO/Power Car is used regularly on the North Coast line to Casino and Brisbane. Starlight Express, XP 2013, heading north on an XPT Passenger service at 1.53 pm on November the 14th. 2020.
