Anakie Railway Station, QLD.

Good Morning,

Today is Thursday the 21st of March, 2019.

I am hoping to complete this Newsletter sometime today as today is the due day.

It will probably be completed some time this evening.
Here are some Photos of the Anakie Raulway Station taken in 2014.




Here is some information about the Town of Anakie.

It is 44 Kilometres from Emerald, It is located in the Gemfields Locality, with 3 other villages.

The Post office was opened on the 12th of March 1894, and, the was a Receiving office which opened in 1885.

State School opened on the 27th of July 1885.

The railway arrived between 1879 and 1886.

A Gemfest- Festival of Gems is held for 4 days every August.

Good Morning, Today is Friday the 31st of January, 2020. Here's some info about the Bungulla Railway Station. It was located on the GNR of NSW between Tenterfield and Bluff Rock. Opened on the 9th of December 1891. Closed in 1975. Photo from Nathan Johnston's collection, taken on the 29th of September 2001. Photosourced from the NSWRAIL.NET, Webpage. This LOCO/Power Car is used regularly on the North Coast line to Casino and Brisbane. Starlight Express, XP 2013, heading north on an XPT Passenger service at 1.53 pm on November the 14th. 2020.
