Today is Monday the 1st of April, 2019.
Here is a write up about the Cooma Railway Station.
The Railway arrived at Cooma in 1889.
Currently the Station Precinct is used by a Heritage Railway Group.
The above Photos were taken on the 9th of December 2014. We were traveling from Yass to Bega and decided to stay at Cooma for a week.

Here is some more info about the town and the Railway.
The population in Cooma in 2016 was 6,742 people, according to the 2016 census.
Cooma was proclaimed a municipality in 1879.
The Railway arrived in 1889.
The town was the base for the Snowy mountains scheme in the late 40's to late 50's.
Cooma is 114 kilometres fro Canberra, and,
The town was explored by Captain J.M. Currie in 1823.
