Swan Hill Railway Station, Victoria.

Today is Sunday the 24th of March, 2019.

This will be a write up about the Swan Hill Railway Station.

I visited this Station in April 2006, on my journey over to the event for the Port Adelaide Railway line.

 Photo above was taken in April 2006, over the Easter weekend. I was traveling from NSW to South Australia for the 150 celebs for the Port line in Adelaide.

Locomotive hauled Passenger train has just arrived at the Station.

Population of Swan Hill in 2016, according to the census was 10,905.

The Town was given it's name by Explorer Thomas mitchell, while camping on a hill, on the 21st of June 1836.

A european community was established as early as 1846.
