Wulkuraka Railway Station, Qld.

This is a write up about the above Railway Station.
It is part of the Brisbane suburban system, and is west of Ipswich.
The name Wulkuraka is from an Aboriginal word meaning either red flowering gum tree or plenty of Kookaburras.
The Brisbane Valley Line once joined the main line from the North at Wulkuraka.
Wulkuraka has a number of Heritage sites including,
Sadliers Crossing Railway Bridge
and
The "Sandstone Railway Culvert"
The New Generation Rollingstock is maintained at the Workshop West of the Wulkuraka Railway Station.
