Special Feature-Special Railway Station.
Good Afternoon
It is the Afternoon of Monday the 1st of April, 2019.
I have decided to do a write up on the Nimmitabel Railway Station and Mens Shed.
As yet I have not visited the Station so I have sourced a Photo from the Wikipedia Page.

And was taken on the 31st of March 2009.

The first settlers arrived in 1839.
The village was proclaimed in 1858.
The Railway arrived in Nimmitabel on the 20th of April 1912.
Railway services ceased to Nimmitabel on the 26th of March 1986, when the line south of Cooma was closed.
Nimmitabel is 37 kilometres South of Cooma.
In the 2016 Census, population was 320 people.

Currently the Station is being Restored by the Nimmitabel Mens Shed.
I am in Negotiations with the group to hopefully get some up to date Photos.
