Trangie Railway Station, NSW.
Good Morning,
Today is Tuesday the 16th of April, 2019.
We visited this Railway Station for the first time In May 2015.
We were traveling from Bateau Bay to Dunedoo, staying at Trangie for about 5 weeks, which gave us a good chance to have a look around the area.

The 4 colour Photos above were taken on the 3rd of May 2015.

The first Railway Station built at Trangie was in 1909, it consisted of a 400 gallon Tank, a Taupaulin, a rulebook, a hand lamp and a tin of oil.
It is assumed the B&W photo above is the second Railway Station built at Trangie.
A Railway Camp was built at Trangie in 1881, for the Railway Workers.
The Railway At Trangie became operational sometime between 1882 and 1883.
As far as I am aware, this is the third Railway Station that was built at Trangie.
Here's some Photos of Trains at The Trangie Railway Station.
A Train waiting for a path to South East Trangie to load cotton containers.
More Photos and Info to follow soon.
The last 4 photos were taken while Grain was being loaded, just North West of the Trangie Railway Station.
In the other direction, south East of the Trangie Railway Station, cotton products in Containers are loaded on the Train during the Cotton season.
More Photos and info coming soon.
The Railway Yard is sometimes used for staging Concentrate Wagons, which go to Cobar, to the mine/mines there.
The Trangie Railway Yard is also used for Trains to Park, while a train coming from the other direction passes through. Here are a couple of Photos of a Grain train waiting to continue on with it's journey.
Just arriving from the North West.
So you can see from this collection of Photos, at times the Trangie Station area gets quite busy.
Have a great Day everybody.
The above Photos of the XRN Loco's at Trangie South were taken in April 2017. It is a very interesting operation to watch if you have the time.
