The Railway Station opened on the 2nd of August 1882.

The Station is Heritage listed.

 The back Platform has had the rails lifted and a fence put in place.

The 2016 Census indicated that 1451 people live at Walcha, and, the Walcha Road Railway Station is 20.7 Kilometres away.

Good Morning, Today is Friday the 31st of January, 2020. Here's some info about the Bungulla Railway Station. It was located on the GNR of NSW between Tenterfield and Bluff Rock. Opened on the 9th of December 1891. Closed in 1975. Photo from Nathan Johnston's collection, taken on the 29th of September 2001. Photosourced from the NSWRAIL.NET, Webpage.
