21st Release

Good Morning,

Today is Tuesday the 21st of May, 2019.

This is the release date of the 6th Newsletter which I have been working on for the last two months.

Lots of research done, and, lots of photos loaded.

In a town North of Emerald, Queensland, there are 4 of these Wagons with Murals painted on them, Something you do not expect to see when traveling in the bush.

Updates have been done on the Following Railway Stations.

Ouyen,
Swan Hill,
Cooma,
Katherine,
Pinnaroo,
Coonamble,
Dubbo,
Gunnedah,
and
Gular Rail.

The first six Stations I will be working on for the 7th Newsletter, due on the 21st of July are,

Munduberra, Qld.
Biggenden, Qld.
Gayndah, Qld.
Taree, NSW.
Kendal, NSW.
and
Wauchope, NSW.

Railway Station Tourism is something I have been working on since 2001 and in the past 12 months have been working harder at it to help people realize that it is an important Tourism Market.
We need to get behind all the Volunteers who are involved in these projects all around the country by giving them support. A lot of Railway Stations have been Re-purposed, and, here is a photo of a couple of them I have Photographed in the last few years.

The Murray Bridge Railway Station, in South Australia, has been re-purposed as a Youth centre.
The Tintinara Railway Station, also in South Australia, has been re-purposed as a Craft shop, with a small cafe and Souvenirs and Paintings.

Photos in this Newsletter have come from My Collection and I would like to thank Greg Davis for letting me use some Photos from his collection as well.

AHRSI, "Australian Heritage Railway Stations and Infrastructure" Newsletter, is the "Premier Newsletter" for Australian Heritage Railway Stations.

This Newsletter is created every 2 months, on the 21st of the month, and, I Feature 13 Railway Stations and have Special Features as well.

Good Morning, I hope you are all Well and happy, News about Raglan Railway Station, Possible Pedestrian Crossing at Raglan Railway Station, I have been in communication with Amanda from UGL, and, she has advised that I need to Contact Transport for NSW. Contact with Transport for NSW has been made and I am waiting for a Response. Hopefully it will be good News. Friday afternoon 3-11-2023, Transport for New South Wales are going to investigate more and will get back with what ever info they find out. Many thanks to them for getting back to me. Saturday Morning, 4-11-2023, For those that may be concerned about my involvement with this Railway Station, it has been happening since I started the Facebook Page, back in 2018. Regional Rail Passenger services.

Good Morning, Today is Saturday the 18th of January, 2020. For the past few years I have been investigating the Possibility of Extending Regional Rail Services in South Australia and New South Wales. In the process I have copped a lot of Flack, but all I am trying to do is give a Passenger service to the people in Rural Australia. In March 2019 I contacted UGL. Ian Pendlebury is the person I spoke to about building a new single Railcar which are driveable from Both Ends. From the emails, and, a Phone conversation I had with Ian, it was pointed out to me that it would be too expensive to have a New one built. He suggested that I contact a Manufacturer who has Railcars already in Production. I contacted Bombadier in Melbourne, but they did not answer my email, so I will need to try and contact them next week.
