Today is Thursday the 20-06-2019.
This write up is about the 1919 Broken Hill Railway Station
Yesterday, the 19th of June, 2019, a story was printed in the Barrier Truth Newspaper about the Station to help the Proposal to Save the building, if possible.

The 1919 Railway Station was opened in July on the 15th day of the month.
Water trains from this Station Precinct were the main trains running until the line opened in 1927 when an Express train to Sydney service was started. This service started in November 1927, and, the consist included a Dining car AB 90.
In 1937 the Silver City Comet started a service to Parkes and ran till the late 80's.

The 1919 Broken Hill Railway Station was completed 2 weeks after the Macksville Railway Station, as, both were built of the same Cement Slab construction.
