Eungai Railway Station

Good Evening,

Today is Tuesday the 23 rd of July, 2019.

Eungai Railway Station is on the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales.

It was opened on the1st of July 1919.

This Station was opened at the same time as the Macksville Railway Station. which was July the 1st 1919.

My Photos of this Railway Station are in my Hard Drive and am not sure if they can be retrieved. My computer will be taking a trip to the Computer tech soon.

I was fortunate to get some more photos of this Station, Yesterday, the 26th of July 2019,

Special Feature-Railway Passenger services.

Good morning, Today is Sunday the 9th of December, 2018. This story is to do with Railway Passenger services and how they have dwidled away to a mere pittance to what they once were. In the past week or so it was announced in the Media that the Overland Train will be stopped in late December 2018, due to the South Australia Government with drawing their $330,000 subsidy to help run it. The decline of Rail passenger services has been happening since the early sixties, possibly even earlier than that. Over that time several different governments, in all states of Australia have cut back on Rail Passenger services. But the irony is that the State of Victoria have been expanding their Rail Passenger services since 2004, with the Introduction of the Vlocity DMU sets, with expansion of the Fleet ever since. Good afternoon, Today is the 23rd of September 2018. The Railway Station featured here is the Spring Bluff Railway Station. The above Photos were taken in October 2008. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spring_Bluff,_Queensland Spring time is a great time to visit this Railway Station. Shuttles run from Toowoomba to Spring Bluff during the month of September and maybe Early October, depending on School Holiday dates. A great display of Flowers as the Coal Train passes by. Many Flowers are blooming in this Photo, and, lots of people watching the Coal trains, as a loaded one passes an empty one.
