Special Feature-Special Railway Station 2.

Good Morning,

Today is Sunday the 14th of July, 2019.

This write up is about the Glenreagh Railway Station, which is situated about 40 Kilometres from Coffs Harbor, on the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales.

In April 2017, a group of Railway Friends and Myself became involved in a Process to save the Railway Station Precinct. Over that time, till now many emails and Phone calls have been exchanged to progress the Project into the Future.

In May 2018, the inaugual AGM was held and a Committee was formed, with much work done, working with the Clarence Valley Council and ARTC.

I visited the Station Precinct, for the first time, on the 21st of June 2017.

More information and Photos will be added soon.

A recent visit to the Station on the 18th of May showed the Steam Water tank in all it's Glory.
You could say that this Photo could be considered as a Landmark for the Glenreagh area.
But on Saturday the 13th of July this photo below was taken.
This discovery was a very, very sad thing, as ARTC had promised to pull it down in a sympathetic Manner.

I have been sent these photos from a concerned "local Glenreagh Resident"

More Photos and Information will be added soon.
