Tocumwal Railway Station, NSW.

Here is a story about the above Railway Station.

Strangely, the railway did not arrive at Tocumwal until 1914.

The Post office was opened on the 1st of August 1868.

And, the Railway From Victoria arrived in 1908.

The Railway Line from Narrandera to Tocumwal was established over many years.
It reached Jerilderie in 1884
Berrigan in 1896.
Finley in 1898.
But it took another 16 years to reach Tocumwal, in 1914.
Looks to me that it may have been a political situation.

Good Morning, Today is Friday the 31st of January, 2020. Here's some info about the Bungulla Railway Station. It was located on the GNR of NSW between Tenterfield and Bluff Rock. This LOCO/Power Car is used regularly on the North Coast line to Casino and Brisbane. Starlight Express, XP 2013, heading north on an XPT Passenger service at 1.53 pm on November the 14th. 2020.
