Red Hen Railcars, South Australia.
Good afternoon,
During my Apprenticeship as a Fitter and Turner at F. W. Hercus in Thebarton South Australia, I travelled on the Red hen Railcars, From North Adelaide Railway Station to the Salisbury Railway Station on the Gawler Line.
This was in the Late 60's and Early 70's.
There were quite a few people who travelled on the same train as me and we walked from The North Adelaide Railway Station to the Factory in Thebarton.

The 2 Photos above show the North Adelaide Railway Station.
These Red Hen Railcars were run at a Tourist Railway at Mount Gambier in South Australia.

A different Coloured Red Hen, this was run by Yorke Peninsular Rail thru the lions Club at Wallaroo in South Australia.
The 2300 Class Railcars were originally Red Hens.
