A Small Update 25-06-2020.
Good morning,
Today is Thursday the 25th of June, 2020.
This is a small update to discuss a few things that have happened this week.
Had a trip to Woy Woy, on Tuesday and Wednesday, so was able to take some Photos at the Woy Woy Railway Station and the Gosford Railway Station.
The main reason for writing this Update is to advise that this Newsletter passes another Milestone on the 21st of July.
On the 21 st of July it will be 2 Years since this Newsletter was Started. We have already passed the 30,000 Visitors mark, and moving further forward with the visitor numbers.
Soon we will probably pass the 200 Stations Write ups as well.
Because this Newsletter/Blog Page is so popular with all who have an interest in Railways, I figure that this Newsletter can be classed as the Number One Newsletter for Railways and Historic/Heritage Railway Stations in Australia. Of course this is only my opinion.
If you wish to view past stories please go to the "More Posts" at the bottom of the Page, Click on the More Posts and you will be able to read any Write up/Story you wish to.
Here is a Photo from my Gosford Visit.
Here's a Photo of a Light Engine run, by the SSR Company heading North at Woy woy.
They were motoring thru very quick so was not able to get the number of the trailing Loco. Leading Loco was 44206.
Here's some more Photos from around the traps.
Port Dock Rail Museum in Port Adelaide.
Port Dock Rail Museum on the 23 rd of April 2006.
Hay Railway Station 2006.
September the 24th 2005, at Central Station, Sydney.
Another Photo from 2005.
Armidale, Northern NSW.
Some History at the Armidale Railway Station, NSW.
Emerald Railway Station, QLD, August 2014. A Beautiful Old Railway Station.
For your interest, I have added more Photos to the Railcar/Railmotor write up. I am enjoying searching for information about these Vehicles which. ran all over our wonderful country.
I hope you enjoy the Photos.
HAVE AN ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC DAY.
Regards,
Brian Leedham.
