This is a Write up/Story about the Ardglen Railway Station.

When the Station was Standing. Photos sourced from the Quirindi Rural heritage Facebook Page.


It is believed that this Photo was taken between 1908 and 1915.

Ardglen is now famous for the coal trains that traverse the incline to the Tunnel.









Ardglen Railway Station, formerly named Doughboy Hollow, opened on the 13th of August 1877.
A contactors Engine was able to access the Tunnel in July 1876.
The Tunnel was complete in December 1876.
