Wagga Wagga was proclaimed a town in 1849.
A Store opened in the town in 1851, which was the first.
The First school opened in 1861.
The Railway reached North Wagga Wagga in 1878.
Wagga Wagga's Railway Station opened on the 1st of September 1879.

Currently the Station has 2 Passenger services a Day in each direction.




The Station Masters House was about 500 metres away from the Station.

The building was Heritage listed on the 2nd of April 1999.

Good Morning, Today is Friday the 31st of January, 2020. Here's some info about the Bungulla Railway Station. It was located on the GNR of NSW between Tenterfield and Bluff Rock. Opened on the 9th of December 1891. Closed in 1975. Photo from Nathan Johnston's collection, taken on the 29th of September 2001. Photosourced from the NSWRAIL.NET, Webpage. This LOCO/Power Car is used regularly on the North Coast line to Casino and Brisbane. Starlight Express, XP 2013, heading north on an XPT Passenger service at 1.53 pm on November the 14th. 2020.
