Macksville Railway Station, NSW.

 Good morning,

Here is a write up about the Macksville Railway Station.

Opened on the first of July 1919.

Was built in the same month as the 1919 Broken Hill Railway Station, opening on the 15th of July 1919, but the most important thing is they were both built with Concrete Slabs.

NSW Tranlink operates Trains in both Directions, 3 each way every day.

This Photo was taken by me on the 30th of June 2019.

Nearly 100 years after it was opened for operations.

More Photos to come.

Some Photos of the Celebrations of the 100 years.

A special function was held at the Station in early July 2019,to celebrate the opening of the Station in 1919 as there was not one due to the Spanish Flue Epidemic.
This function was reported in the Media.

HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY EVERYBODY.
