Today is Monday the 31st of August, 2020.


I will be doing an Update on my Newsletter/Blog/Page today, which should be complete sometime this Afternoon.

What have I been up to since the last Update.

2 Stockinbingal Railway Station Updates,
Nyngan Railway Station Photos,
New Trains at central Railway Station,
Girilambone Railway Station,
And,
Stations Round Up for my 2 day trip to the North West.

On Tuesday the 25th of August, 20 20, I headed North West to Merriwa, Dunedoo and Trangie, buying Fuel at DUNEDOO, and spending money on a Cabin for a overnight stay, a meal at the Bowling club, and Food for the Next day at the Bakery. Before I left Trangie I filled up with Fuel as well.

The Next Day Wednesday the 26th of August, 2020, Travelled to Girilambone, then returned home via Belaringar, Nevertire, Dubbo, Wellinton, Gulgong and Muswellbrook.

Bought Fuel at Narromine, and Drinks at East maitland.

Stopped many times, for resting from Driving, Toilet stops and of Course Photo shoots.

it was a very enjoyable 2 Days.

RAILWAY TOURISM is a market that needs to be Promoted a lot more. Lots of Australian History in Railway Stations around the Country, and of course all the other buildings at Railway sites.

Railway Tourism is good for the towns in the Rural areas of the Country as well.

Good Morning, I hope you are all Well and happy, News about Raglan Railway Station, Possible Pedestrian Crossing at Raglan Railway Station, I have been in communication with Amanda from UGL, and, she has advised that I need to Contact Transport for NSW. Contact with Transport for NSW has been made and I am waiting for a Response. Hopefully it will be good News. Friday afternoon 3-11-2023, Transport for New South Wales are going to investigate more and will get back with what ever info they find out. Many thanks to them for getting back to me. Saturday Morning, 4-11-2023, For those that may be concerned about my involvement with this Railway Station, it has been happening since I started the Facebook Page, back in 2018. Regional Rail Passenger services.

Good Morning, Today is Saturday the 18th of January, 2020. For the past few years I have been investigating the Possibility of Extending Regional Rail Services in South Australia and New South Wales. In the process I have copped a lot of Flack, but all I am trying to do is give a Passenger service to the people in Rural Australia. In March 2019 I contacted UGL. Ian Pendlebury is the person I spoke to about building a new single Railcar which are driveable from Both Ends. From the emails, and, a Phone conversation I had with Ian, it was pointed out to me that it would be too expensive to have a New one built. He suggested that I contact a Manufacturer who has Railcars already in Production. I contacted Bombadier in Melbourne, but they did not answer my email, so I will need to try and contact them next week.
