A Regional Train-Coffs to Casino-then Murwillumbah.

I am putting together some Plans to see if it would be possible to run a Regional Train from Coffs Harbour to Murwillumbah in the Long term.

Perhaps start it from Coffs to Grafton in the initial stages and then expand over time.

A Single Railcar could be used or a Railcar set like the 620 class Railcars.



Or Perhaps a Modern day version of something like this Railcar Below.


Above is the Sprinter Railcar, made in Newcastle, NSW.
Another Ideal Railcar for Regional services.

Or of course the Velocity Railcars could be used as well.
I have been told that there were plans to build them in a Single Railcar version as well.

The Velocity Railcar has been very successful in Victoria, been operating since 2004, and they are still adding to their Fleet.
According to Media reports, the most Reliable Railcar in the World, and they are assembled in the State of Victoria.

I am keen to know what other peoples thought are.

Good morning, Today is Sunday the 9th of December, 2018. This story is to do with Railway Passenger services and how they have dwidled away to a mere pittance to what they once were. In the past week or so it was announced in the Media that the Overland Train will be stopped in late December 2018, due to the South Australia Government with drawing their $330,000 subsidy to help run it. The decline of Rail passenger services has been happening since the early sixties, possibly even earlier than that. Over that time several different governments, in all states of Australia have cut back on Rail Passenger services. But the irony is that the State of Victoria have been expanding their Rail Passenger services since 2004, with the Introduction of the Vlocity DMU sets, with expansion of the Fleet ever since.  Good Morning, Today is Tuesday the 1st of December, 2020. I have decided to put a few Photos together of XP 2013.
