Here is a Run down on all the News about the Girilambone Railway Station.

Spoke to the site Manager this morning.
He advised that a pitch Roof was being put on the building in the Photo.
The Posts at the left of the Photo, are recycled Railway Line, and now have Blue Rails on them.
At the left and in the distance are more Railway Line Posts.
To the right of this Photo are the Blue Rails which have been added to the Posts, at each end of the Building.
This Photo shows the New Fence at each end of the Building.

The Building in the right side of the Photo is going to have Special Process put in place to secure the wall so it can be, Re-roofed and repaired. It could possibly be a Large belt system, which can be tightened by a Ratchet, so a brace can be placed inside on the top of the Wall. This is how it was explained to me, but I may not be 100% correct.

The Verandah/Awning on the Rail side of the Station building is the next thing to be done, possibly happening in the next couple of Weeks.

Also in the next couple of weeks the painted walls are going to be Steam Cleaned, or a High pressure Water unit is to be used, to remove the old Lead based Paint.
