Some Facts about the Girilambone Project-28-12-2020.

Here's some facts about the communications I have had with various people regarding this Project.

My emails date from the 18-04-2019 to the 27th of the 09-2020.

I have had recent Phone calls about the Project with Timothy Riley, the site Manager.

I spoke to him about going to the Site on Thursday the 17th of December.

That Phone call was made on Monday the 14th of December.

He advised that contractors would be working on site.

So I made myself known to the Boss when I arrived and he confirmed my Phone call with Timothy.


The General manager, Derek Francis advised in an email in July, that interest in this Project was intense. He had many enquiries about what was happening.

David Coulton at JRH.

David Millar at Bogan Shire Council.

Cathy Ellison @ Bogan Shire.

Paula Riley @ Bogan Shire.

Derek Francis@ General Manager, Bogan shire

And 

Timothy Riley, The Site Manager at the Girilambone Railway Restoration Site.

Both times I visited the site, I had permission to be there, and the workers on site were aware I was taking Photographs.

The Interest I have in this Project is because I set out with the Intension to start a B&B business, But when the NSW Government gave the Bogan Shire the Grant to Restore the Station and do works at the Nyngan Railway Station I withdrew my Proposal.


It is Great to see the Bogan Shire Council doing such a great Job.

    Well atleast you went on site the correct way with staff at the site unlike some others who might have told a few stories to get them on site when no body was working to do there so called professional photos.
    But isnt it amazing how your photos were put up first but others claim you copied somebody else

Good morning, Today is Sunday the 9th of December, 2018. This story is to do with Railway Passenger services and how they have dwidled away to a mere pittance to what they once were. In the past week or so it was announced in the Media that the Overland Train will be stopped in late December 2018, due to the South Australia Government with drawing their $330,000 subsidy to help run it. The decline of Rail passenger services has been happening since the early sixties, possibly even earlier than that. Over that time several different governments, in all states of Australia have cut back on Rail Passenger services. But the irony is that the State of Victoria have been expanding their Rail Passenger services since 2004, with the Introduction of the Vlocity DMU sets, with expansion of the Fleet ever since. Temple Court Railway Station, NSW.

 Good Morning, Today is Saturday the 26th of September, 2020. This write up is about the Temple Court Station. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_Court_railway_station Above is the Murrurundi Railway Station. The Temple Court Station is/was 1.2 or 1.6 kilometres north from the above station. Here is a couple of Photos of the Temple Court Railway Line, or if you like the Branch line from the Oil Shale Production site to the Temple Court Railway Station. These Photos were sourced from the Willow Tree Then and Now Page. Here is a Photo of the Railway Station. It's location, was 1.3 Kilometres from the Murrurundi Railway Station. The Station opened in late April 1878. To the North of the Station was a Loop and a branch to the Oil Shale Works, located on the slope of the hill at the End of Elizabeth Street I believe.
